I’ve known Mel & Erik for several years now as I’ve worked with their family previously and have shot their brother and sister-in-law’s wedding as well. So when their wedding came up it felt like a joyous reunion. I was so excited to party with the bride’s parents who love to get down on the dance floor, to see the nephew and nieces who I’ve photographed over the years, and finally meet the friends I’ve heard about that witnessed their proposal. It felt like a big warm hug from the friendliest clan who always welcome me as one of their own.

Mel is very outgoing and her laugh always makes everyone else in the room smile too. Erik is quieter but his calm energy is very peaceful. They balance each other out and make the perfect match. Their wedding reflected all of their amazing traits, from sweet guests to stylish decor. It was truly a special and memorable day.
