Cape Cod Wedding at The Ridge Club | Kath & Ryan

It was an early Fall wedding and there was news of a possible hurricane arriving that weekend! Luckily, we ended up with only a little bit of wind (& no rain!) and was blessed with the most gorgeous and vibrant sunset ever. The skies shined such bright oranges, purples, and pinks that we were able to get my favorite golden hour portrait ever.

The wedding venue, The Ridge Club, is located in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod with beautiful lush greens from the golf course and a bright reception hall. It was the perfect location for Katherine & Ryan to be wed as the groom loves to golf and Kath’s style is classic yet fresh. The venue was also dog friendly as their two samoyed pups helped them walk down the aisle.

Another unique aspect of this wedding, other than the hurricane skies and the cutest puppies, was that Kath and Ryan didn’t want to do a first look. Instead they wanted a special meeting where they couldn’t see each other, and held hands around a pillar to share a moment of intimacy before getting married.

We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Cheers K&R!
