Autumn family session at the Arboretum

Last fall extended into the later months, so in November we still had beautifully bright foliage. Mike & Rachel were used to working with me as I’ve shot their engagement photos and newborn photos when their son was born. Seeing him run around really shocked me to see how quickly he’s grown already. They told him about me before the shoot and he kept calling me “Glo-Glo”. Oh my heart! I know my name is hard for kids to say, but that was the cutest rendition yet!

We headed to JP’s Arnold Arboretum to take their family photos and couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was perfect! It helps young kids just do their thing and have fun exploring. I loved following him around as he picked up leaves and ran back and forth between me and his parents. Can’t wait to see him grow up, but hope he still calls me the same nickname.
